I'm really sorry guys, but it's 2020 now and I'm pretty sure it's time to call it. This fic is officially discontinued/abandoned. I lost touch with Kuruk ages ago, and the last time I spoke to them they said they don't have any interest in continuing this fic because they're too busy with other projects. Unfortunately, I don't have enough of a handle on their Ethan and Leaf voices to finish this fic by myself.

This fic was supposed to be very emotionally messy, way moreso than any other fic I've ever attempted, and I think because of that it needed two of us to create it.
